Chapter 8  Maintenance

Main Battery (8PH-4/3A3700-H-J18) Replacement

      NOTE

The date of manufacture is indicated on a label of the main battery.

Procedure to Replace the Main Battery

Tool: Phillips Screwdriver #2

1

Remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the battery cover, and then remove the battery cover.

2

Take out the battery from the main unit, and disconnect the battery connector from the main unit.

3

Connect the new battery connector to the main unit, and then insert the new battery into the main unit.

4

Place the battery cover back in its original position and tighten the screws.

      NOTE

Pay attention to the connector orientation.

Place the convex side of the battery facing down.

Make sure to disconnect the power cable before replacing the battery.
