Chapter 1 General Description
This chapter explains the overview of CardiMax Series FX-8200, the name of each part and the specifications.
Features of this ECG
The CardiMax series FX-8200 measures a standard 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) with high accuracy and
performs processing of classification of findings. Analysis results and ECG can be recorded and printed. ECG data
can be stored on a USB memory stick.
Names of Parts and Their Functions
This section describes parts and their functions of this equipment.
WARNING

Contact your local Fukuda Denshi service representative when connecting with other
equipments.
Otherwise, it may cause hazardous situation such as electric shock to the patient and
operator.

Make sure to use the supplied lead cable.
The use of a lead cable other than the specified defibrillation-proof type may damage the
equipment or compromise safety when the equipment is used along with a defibrillator.
CAUTION

Do not bend, drop, or apply impact to the USB memory.

Do not apply impact to the equipment while the USB memory is in operation. It may damage
the data or break the media.

Do not touch the terminal parts of the USB memory with your hands or metal objects.

Caution about the warning labels attached to the equipment

These warning labels provide important information on proper and safe handling of the
equipment.

Do not scratch, damage, or erase the warning labels attached to the device.
