Chapter 8 Operation and Maintenance

Turn the power on and insert the "Server Management Tools" disk into the
floppy disk drive.
A screen to select the keyboard is displayed.

Select a keyboard.
When selecting "1", the Japanese keyboard is set. When selecting "2", the English keyboard is
set. The Japanese keyboard is selected by default.

Enter the following command and press the [Enter] key.
A:\SMT>IPMIVIEW.EXE
The IPMI-Tool window appears.
Only the following functions are supported by Server Management Tools.
• System Event Log (SEL)
• User Management
• Channel Configuration (LAN / Serial)
Exiting Server Management Tools

Press the [Esc] key in the IPMI-Tool window.
The power can be turned off when the DOS prompt is displayed.
Please select:
1 = JP Keyboard
2 = US Keyboard
