Updating or recovering the iRMC
TFTP update procedure
Ê
Login to the management blade web interface.
Ê
Open the
Information / Operation – Operation – Firmware Update
menu.
Ê
Open the
Server Blade
tab.
Ê
In the
Server Blade to be Updated
box select the desired server.
Ê
In the
Update settings
box enter the TFTP IPv4 or IPv6 address of the TFTP
server and the pathname of the TFTP firmware file.

the management blade web interface.
Ê
Click the
Apply
button to start the update process.
The status column in the
Server Blade to be Updated
box provides information
on the update progress.

CAUTION!
Do not interrupt the iRMC upgrade process after it has started. If the
process is interrupted, the iRMC may be permanently corrupted.
