If documents jam while being fed by the ADF, remove the jammed documents as follows.

(1)

Remove the documents from the ADF paper chute.

(2)

Pulling the ADF lever, open the ADF unit.

(3)

Remove the jammed documents.

(4)

Close the ADF until the ADF lever locks.
