6. Connecting a TV

Preparing Necessary Items

TV set

Use a TV set with S-video signal input terminals.

Used to connect a TV to your computer. Prepare a commercially
available AV cable.

Manual for the TV

Ways of connection vary from TV to TV. So be sure to read also the
manual for the TV used.

Connecting a TV

This section explains how to display pictures on a TV screen by connecting a cable to the
S-video port on the left panel of your computer.

WARNING

ELECTRIC SHOCK
Before connecting or disconnecting a TV to or from the computer, always turn off the
computer and disconnect the AC adapter from it. Also, turn off the TV and unplug its
power cable. Failure to do so could lead to an electric shock.

FAILURE
