Chapter 3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the documents into the ADF paper chute and scan using the ADF.
This section describes how to scan the document.
NOTE
Refer to “4.3.3” for periodic cleaning.
3.1 Loading Documents on the Flatbed
Place the document face down and align the top left corner with the reference mark.
3.1.1 Check the document condition
Follow the instruction below when the document is smaller than the Document bed.
CAUTION
Do not look directly at the light source during the read operation
