Error messages
This section explains the main error messages and the resolution process.
If any error message other than following appears, contact your Fujitsu engineer.
must be superuser
Cause:
A user without the root-level user privilege executed the command.
Action:
Execute the command with the root-level user privilege.
multiple command
Cause:
Multiple "iompadm" or "mpdconfig" commands were started at the same time.
Action:
Wait until one command finishes before entering the next.
invalid subcommand
Cause:
An invalid subcommand has been entered.
Action:
Enter a valid subcommand.
invalid parameter
Cause:
There is an error in the command argument.
Action:
Specify a valid value for the command argument.
fail to start path: %s: %s: lun%d
Cause:
The path status cannot be changed to Online using the "iompadm restart" command.
The first %s is a detailed error message, the second %s is the device node name of the mpdh driver, and
%d is the LU number.
Action:
Check the path status using the "iompadm info" command. Also check the status of the connection
between the server and storage system, fix any problems, and execute the "iompadm restart" command
again.
