4.2.3 Data Backup (0122)
The data backup FD should be kept in a fixed place near the
machine because it is used after recovering from trouble or when
upgrading the system software.

[Procedure]
Make a backup of unit data stored in the hard disk of the main
control unit, when data is changed.
The backup floppy disks are used when reinstalling or upgrading
the system software.
1. Prepare a floppy disk for data backup when backing up film
scanner or printer processor data.
2. Move the cursor to the “Destination” box and select “Film
Scanner” or “Printer processor”.
3. Click the [OK] button.
• “Making the backup of the data” message appears.
4. Insert the floppy disk into the floppy drive of the main control
unit.
5. Click the [OK] button.
6. Upon completion of the backup, click the [Cancel] button.
• Operation returns to the menu screen.
7. Remove the floppy disk from the disk drive.

“Device Name”: Normally enter “FE-FRONTIER”.
“Order Identifier: Enter “a” when connecting the IC
