1-5. Selecting Confocal Mode or Non-Confocal Mode
It is possible to select the confocal mode or non-confocal mode when read-
ing slide glass.
Confocal Mode ............. Fluorescent light from dust or foreign matters on
slide glass and background components in the
slide glass may be reduced in the confocal mode.
On the contrary, unevenness on the slide glass
surface may be detected.
Non-Confocal Mode ...... The apparent evenness of images is higher than
in the confocal mode.
Selection method
1.
Select either by clicking the check box.
Confocal Mode Non-Confocal Mode
2. The selected reading mode goes valid. It is also valid in preview reading.
