(1) Use a macro resolution
chart as the subject.
(2) Set the camera to Macro
mode.
(3) Set the camera to Self
timer mode.
(4) Press the shutter button
and check that the self-
timer is running.
(5) Set the camera up so that
the chart fills the screen
from corner to corner.
(6) Set the Flash On mode to
red-eye mode.
(1) Select the Movie shooting
mode.
(2) Press S1 -> S2 and then
release S2 -> S1.
(3) After 5 seconds, press and
then release S1.
(1) Set the camera to
Playback mode.
(2) Press the 4-way button
(down) to play back the
movie.
(2) Press the 4-way button
(left) and check that the
Macro icon (tulip) appears
on the LCD monitor.
(3) Select the 2-second timer
setting. Check that the
clock icon appears on the
LCD monitor.
(4) Check that the self-timer
LED on the front of the
camera is blinking red.
(5) Position the camera within
2 seconds.
During shooting, the
viewfinder LED changes
from green to orange
(during recording) and
then turns off.
(1) Check that “STANDBY”
appears on the LCD
monitor.
(2) Check that movie
recording begins.Check
that “REC” appears on the
LCD monitor.
(3) Check that movie
recording ends and that
the data is recorded on the
card.
(2) Check that the movie is
played back on the LCD
monitor.
