INSTALLATION
4.1
FIELD SITE REQUIREMENTS
For proper operation of the
G6-DB
transmitter, the user must follow the following requirements:
•
Install the antenna so that it has a clear view of the sky (view of the satellite).
•
For directional antennas, the user must point it toward the satellite (
).
•
Omnidirectional antennas only require a positioning with clear view of the sky (
•
It must be installed in an enclosure that will protect it from any severe environment
conditions, including condensation.
•
The transmitter must be powered by a safe, noise-free power supply.
