Service, maintenance and disposal
General
The device only requires minimal of service and maintenance under normal operating con

ditions. However, several points must be observed for the welding system to remain oper
-
ational for years to come.

WARNING!
Danger from electrical current.
An electric shock can be fatal.
► Switch the power switch on the power source to - O -.
► Disconnect the power source from the grid.
► Ensure that the power source remains disconnected from the grid until all work is com
-
plete.
► After opening the device, use a suitable measuring tool to ensure that electrically
charged components (e.g. capacitors) are discharged.
CAUTION!
Danger due to hot system components.
Serious personal injury and damage to property may result.
► Before starting work, allow all hot system components to cool to room temperature
(+25 °C, +77 °F), for example:

Check all hosepacks and the ground earth connection for damage. Replace damaged
components.

Check feed rollers and inner liners for damage. Replace damaged components.

Check wirefeeding hoses for damage. Replace damaged components.

Check contact pressure of the feed rollers and adjust if necessary.

Check all screw connections between robot, wirefeeder holder and wirefeeder for se
-
cure position.
