codes
Class 7 status codes concern the inverter control unit, configuration and data recording,
and can directly or indirectly affect grid feed operation.
Remedy
If status code persists: Contact a Fronius-trained service tech-
nician.

Communication with memory unit not possible
Description
Warning message of memory unit
Remedy
If status code persists: Contact a Fronius-trained service tech-
nician.

Power derating due to excessive temperature
Description
Warning message due to power derating
Remedy
If status code persists: Contact a Fronius-trained service tech-
nician.

Internal DSP malfunction
Description
Warning message is shown on the display
Remedy
If status code persists: Contact a Fronius-trained service tech-
nician.

Function incompatibility (one or more PC boards in the inverter are not compatible with
each other, e.g. after PC board replacement)
Description
Possible error displays or malfunctions in the inverter
Remedy
Update the inverter firmware via a USB stick or Fronius So-
lar.update software.
The current inverter firmware is available at
http://www.fronius.com.
If status code persists: Contact a Fronius-trained service tech-
nician.
701 - 720
Provides information about the internal processor program status
Description
This is of no concern if the inverter is functioning without prob-
lems and it appears only in the ‘PS Status’ Setup parameter. In
the event of an actual fault, this status code supports Fronius
TechSupport in the failure analysis.

Description
A warning message is shown on the display.
