8 - Starting the infusion
Select the dose rate, then press
OK
.
Note
: The flow rate in ml/h is calculated automatically
according to the Patient parameters and the dilution.
Open roller clamp. Check that there is no free flow
or air remaining inside the infusion line.
Connect the set to the patient via the IV infusion set
according to local facility procedures.

Start

Loading dose
Once the parameters are entered, a loading dose can be infused.
Note:
This operation is available in dose rate mode only if it is selected in the service option [Par 19] (refer to
page 48).
