The F3D3P refrigerated compartment hinges should be on the side of the dispenser farthest from the fryers, to speed and simplify
loading. All F3D3P units ship from Franke with the hinges mounted on the right. You may need to remove the hinges and change the
door swing for easier access. (See Service Manual)
The F3D3P ships with some removable components installed in the freezer compartment and others in the accessories carton. (All
are illustrated in the diagram at the front of this booklet) The following components are in the in the freezer compartment:
- 1 Hash Brown Rack (Standard for US)
- 2 Hoppers (white plastic) with:
- 2 Rubber deflectors installed (orange)
- 1 Freezer bottom (thick orange plastic)
- 1 Wire formed basket guide
- 1 Lower basket storage drip tray (plastic)
- 1 Lower basket storage wire rack (metal)
Place all loose components in the sink; wash and sanitize each item.
Place components so that they can drip-dry.
Leave the hoppers on a flat, clean surface to drip-dry. Position them upside-down to help remove water from the drum. Do NOT
place on top of the sharp wall between sink bowls.

- 1 Side basket storage rack (wire formed steel) with:
- 1 Side basket drip tray (black plastic, small)

NOTE: Use only customer headquarters approved cleaning and sanitizing agents. Use only
warm water, not hot water, when cleaning the hoppers. Excessively hot water can cause
the hoppers to warp.
