NT8 User's Guide | Chapter 6: Initial Setup
When you add a plate to the Plate Type Library, you will need to do three things:
1.
Create a plate definition.
2.
Define well properties.
3.
Define drop properties.
Prerequisites
●
You have placed your microplate on microplate station 2.
●
You have installed a low volume (LV) tip into the LV tip attachment 1.
●
You have the microplate data sheet that came with your plate.
Creating a Plate Definition
1.
Right-click on any plate in the Plate Type Library and select
New Plate Type
. The
Plate Type Editor dialog box appears.
2.
Follow the on-screen instructions presented in the wizard.
3.
When you have finished following all the on-screen instructions, click
Save
.
