REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (Continued)
6. Remove radiator coolant recovery reservoir
retainers and radiator coolant recovery reservoir
on 3.8L engines or degas bottle on 4.6L (2V)
engines.
Installation
1 . Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten degas bottle retainers securely.
Control Relay Module, Constant
Removal
1 . Remove radiator upper sight shield (8C291).
2. Disconnect electrical connector to constant
control relay module.
3. Remove CCRM retainer bracket bolt located on
radiator support ( 1 6 1 38) and remove constant
control relay module.
Installation
1 . Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten constant control relay module bracket
retainer bolt to 2-3 N-m ( 1 2-18 1b-in).
3. Tighten electrical connector bolt securely.
Engine Cooling Fan Motor, Fan Blade and Fan
Shroud Assembly, Electrical
Removal
1 . Disconnect (pull apart) the male-female cooling
fan motor wiring connector at the side of the fan
shroud (81 46). Remove the male terminal
connector retaining clip from the fan shroud
mounting tab.
2. Remove two fan shroud upper retaining bolts at
the radiator tanks.

Lift cooling fan motor

fan blade (8600)
I
fan
shroud assembly past radiator (8005),
disengaging fan shroud from two lower retaining
clips.
Installation
1 . Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten fan shroud retaining bolts to 5.2-7.2 N·m
(46-63 1b-in).
