Tip/slide front passenger seat (if equipped)
Lift the control and fold the
seatback forward.
The seat can be slid forward to
allow easier entry to the rear seats.
Slide the seat back and fold back
the seatback until it locks with a
distinct click. Rock the seat to
ensure that the catch is securely
engaged.
WARNING:
Do not place objects behind the seat which could
prevent the engagement of the seat lock.
REAR SEATS
Second row head restraints
Your vehicle is equipped with second row outboard head restraints that
are vertically adjustable.
WARNING:
To minimize the risk of neck injury in the event of a
crash, the driver and passenger occupants should not sit in
and/or operate the vehicle, until the head restraint is placed in its
proper position. The driver should never adjust the head restraint
while the vehicle is in motion.
The adjustable head restraints
consist of :
•
a trimmed energy absorbing foam
and structure (1),
•
two steel stems (2),
•
a guide sleeve adjust release
button (3),
•
and a guide sleeve unlock/remove
button (4).
The second row head restraints function the same as the first row head
restraints. For details about how to raise, lower and remove the second
row head restraints, refer to
First row adjustable head restraints
at
the beginning of this chapter.
