b) Installing the Elevator Unit
Install the elevator linkage rods to the rudder horn of the elevator (1).
For this, loosen the screw at the rod connector (5) and pull the rods from the fuselage a little. Attach the „Z“ of the
linkage rods to the top-most hole of the rudder horn.
Now push the elevator to the plastic guide at the fuselage. The plastic counterpiece at the elevator (2) must point
up. Observe a symmetrical, central position of the elevator. For this, observe the tab and the bridge at the fuselage
(3).
Install the tail unit to the fuselage with two screws M3 x 30 mm (4).
Then the rods must be pushed into the front of the rod connector of the elevator servo (5) and fastened there. For
this, the servo lever should be at a precise 90° angle to the servo.
Now set the elevator to the neutral position and fasten the rods by screwing it on.
