5.6.2 Power Supply Cable
To connect the power supply cable, follow the steps below:
•
Connect the power connector to the camera
•
Tighten the outer nut of the female connector
•
Supply the open pig tail ends with power (12
– 26 VDC). Take care about the right polarity and connect
the
brown
wire to Ground (-) and the
white
wire to +VDC.
•
Please leave socket 2 (black wire) at the counter end unwired.

Note
Be very careful in wiring the pig tailed end of the power cable
– making sure that the conductor colors on the
cable match the correct terminals on the power supply!
Note
The cable shield must be connected to earth ground!
Note
The external power supply should be in the range of 12 to 26 VDC and must not exceed 26 VDC!
