Use a suction pump (2) with a diameter equivalent to that of the suction mouth of the electropump (1).
If the height (HA) is over 4 meters use a tube with a larger diameter. The suction line should be perfectly airtight. No elbows
and/or slopes should be present to prevent the formation of air locks that could affect the electropump efficiency. A foot
valve (3) with filter (4) should be fitted at about half a metre below the fluid that has to be pumped (HI) on one end of the
line. Load losses can be reduced using delivery piping with a diameter equivalent or greater than the electropump mouth.
A cut-off valve (5) should also be installed downstream from the check valve, to facilitate servicing operations. Piping should be
fitted so that vibrations, when existing, tension and weight do not affect the pump. Piping should be routed along the shortest
and straighter track, avoiding an excessive number of bends. Verify that the motor is properly ventilated.
For fixed installations, the autoclave base should be secured to the support surface by fastening screws into the slots located
on the tank feet, connecting the system with a hose portion and inserting a rubber layer between the support surface and
the autoclave (or other vibration-damping material) to reduce the vibra.
The place of installation must be steady and dry to ensure proper and uninterrupted operation of the booster set
ATTENTION!!!
Connection, suction and delivery pipes should be connected with the utmost care. Make sure that all connections
fixed by means of screws are sealed. Avoid applying excessive stress to tighten the screws of connections or of other
components. Use a Teflon tape to completely seal all joints.
The installer must make sure that the electric system is grounded in
accordance with the law in force.

WARNING
Verify that the voltage and frequency of the electropump shown on the nameplate
correspond to those available on the mains.

Overload protection
BOOSTER SETS FLOTEC have a built-in thermal protection switch. The pump stops if an overload condition occurs. The
motor restarts automatically after it has cooled down (see point 3 of the Troubleshooting section for information on
causes and corrective actions).
Electrical extension cables must have a minimum section of H07 RN-F. The plug and connections should be protected
by water splashes.
Contact a specialised electrician.
Ch. 5 Starting the unit (see Fig. 1)
Use the electropump for the applications listed on the nameplate.
Do not operate the electropump without fluids.
WARNING
WARNING
Do not run the electropump with a completely closed delivery.

DANGERCaution, in case of faults of the control device, erroneous calibration of the
pressure switch or leaks in the vacuum pipe, the pump may remain switched on even
in the absence of the water supply, thus causing the pumped liquid to overheat, with
consequent risks of burns.
In these cases, avoid touching the pump and its pipes and keep the prescribed safety
distance, remove the power supply and wait until it has cooled down completely before
performing any maintenance works.
DANGER
DANGER
In the event of system leaks, the pump may remain on even without water request, causing an
overheating of the pumped fluid, with consequent risk of burns. In this case, be very careful,
disconnect the power supply and wait for the system to cool down before carrying out any
operation.
DANGER
