9.3.1.2.2 Audio
The Audio screen is used for configuring Audio In settings.
Basic Configuration > Audio Screen
To enable audio settings
1. From the Enable drop-down list, select ON .
2. From the Encoding drop-down list, select G.711 a-law, G.711 µ -law, or AAC. The default is AAC.
3. From the Level drop-down list, select High, Mid, or Low.
9.3.1.2.3 Firmware
The Firmware screen displays and is used to update the system firmware, and to display the hardware
version, product name (model number), product serial number, and product MAC address. To access the
Firmware screen, click Basic Configuration > Firmware .

To update system firmware
1. Click Browse to locate the firmware file.
2. Select the file. The file name is displayed (for example,
ArielFHD_20161230
).
3. Click Upgrade . The upgrade process takes about three minutes. After the firmware has upgraded
successfully, the camera reboots.

4. Click OK . The Live screen opens.
5. If your browser requests you to close the window, click Yes . The window closes.
6. Open a new window and enter the camera’s URL. The Login window opens. See Figure: Login
Window .
7. Enter your user credentials and log into the camera. The new firmware version is displayed in the
Firmware Version text box.
