PLEASE NOTE!
■
Before each use, check all parts for a
secure
fi
t and wear.
■
When doing the exercises, wear
loose, comfortable clothing and
non-slip trainers. Do not wear long or
baggy shirts that could get caught in
the pulleys.
■
Warm up the body su
ffi
ciently before
using the training device.
■
Never stand on the training device.
■
Do not leave the training device unat-
tended in the presence of children and
animals.
■
We explicitly point out that improper
use of the training device and exces-
sive training can be detrimental to
your health.
1. Set up the device (see the “Positioning
the Training Device” chapter – “Set-
ting the Device up for Training”).
2. Make sure that all parts are properly
secured to the training device.
3. Adjust the saddle (
5
) to the correct
height using the adjusting screw (
8
).
4. Sit on the training device and place
your feet on the pedals (
13
). Adjust
the foot loops to the correct size if
necessary.
5. Place your feet on the pedals and
start training: As soon as the pedals
are moved, the training computer (
2
)
switches on.
6. Set the display you want on the train-
ing computer (see the “Functions of
the Training Computer” chapter).
7. Sit upright and with a straight back,
lean forward if necessary, pull your
shoulders slightly down and back and
loosely grip the handles (
1 or 7
) with
your hands (
Picture K
). If your pulse
is to be measured during training,
place the palms of your hand on the
pulse monitors (
4
).
Advanced users can also enhance
their training by riding while stand-
ing up rather than sitting down
(
Picture L
). Here too you should
always make sure the device is
securely positioned and do not
lean too far forward.
8. The torque resistance can be adjusted
using the adjusting knob (
15
) (level
1 – 10): Begin the training slowly with
a low torque resistance after a warm-
up phase and increase the intensity
gradually until you reach the desired
performance level that you are still
capable of maintaining.
