Oven Elements
Broil / Grill Elements
Location:
Top of oven cavity
Removal
(a)
Disconnect unit from power supply.
(b)
Remove fan shroud (Refer to Section 7.19)
(c)
Remove two screws securing Broil / Grill elements to top of oven cavity and two
screws securing support frame to cavity roof.
(d)
Pull Broil / Grill elements through hole in oven cavity until element terminals are
accessible.
Note:
Tilt elements forward so that the element terminals will clear hole in oven cavity.
(e)
Disconnect wires and connect to replacement elements.
Re-assembly
(a)
Re-fit in reverse manner.
(b)
Restore power.
(c)
Check element operation and reset clock time.
(Refer to Diagnostics Section 4.3).
Fan Element
Location:
Rear of oven cavity
Removal
(a)
Disconnect unit from power supply.
(b)
Remove fan shroud (Refer to Section 7.19).
(c)
Remove three screws securing fan element to rear of oven.
(d)
Pull element through hole in oven cavity until wires are accessible.
(e)
Disconnect wires and connect to replacement element.
Re-assembly
(a)
Re-fit in reverse manner.
(b)
Restore power.
(c)
Check element operation and reset clock time.
(Refer to Diagnostics Section 4.3).
