7.
Service Procedures
In order to service components of the Aerotech
Ô
oven, certain procedures must be
followed. These procedures are as follows:
Servicing Note
(a)
To avoid stripping screws do not over-tighten when re-assembling parts. If using a
screw gun have the torque setting on low.
(b)
Take extra care not to damage wire terminals on removal as some have release
clips.
7.1
Removal from Joinery Cavity
(a)
Disconnect unit from power supply.
(b)
Remove oven doors
, (Refer to Section 7.20), shelves and utensils.
(c)
Remove four screws on face of oven frame that secure oven to joinery.
(d)
Slide oven out of joinery cavity onto a suitable support.
Warning:
This oven is heavy and care should be taken to use correct lifting techniques.
Note:
When servicing components in the control panel and service panel areas the oven
does not need to be completely removed from joinery cavity. Sliding the oven out
8 inches (200mm) will give sufficient access space.
Re-assembly
(a)
Re-fit in reverse manner

Components in Control Panel Area
(a)
Remove from joinery cavity. (Refer to Section 7.1).
Warning:
To avoid the oven tipping forward, remove shelves, doors and utensils.
(Refer to Section 7.20)
Note:
The oven does not need to be removed completely from joinery cavity. Sliding the
oven out 8 inches (200mm) will give sufficient access space.
(b)
Detach control panel from frame by unscrewing four screws located either side of
the rear of control panel and four screws along top of control panel.
(c)
Remove wiring harness from power module.
(d)
The function, temperature and clock modules are now accessible.
Re-assembly
(a)
Re-fit in reverse manner.
