3.1.1.6 Manual Dial Mode
Pressing
3
while viewing On Board DACT Screen #2 will cause the following
screen to be displayed:

for Primary Phone or
2
for Secondary Phone will display the following:

for Go Off Hook will cause the DACT to access the selected phone line
(similar to taking the phone handset off the cradle). The selected phone line’s red
Active LED will turn on.
Pressing

for Dial Digit(s) will display a screen which allows the user to key in the
phone number to be dialed. The first digit is keyed in and then the right arrow key
is pressed to move the cursor to the next position. The next digit is keyed in and the
process is repeated until all digits have been entered. Pressing the
Enter
key will
cause the number just entered to be dialed.
Pressing
3
for Go On Hook will cause the DACT to hang-up, deselecting the
previously selected phone line. The phone line’s red Active LED will turn off.
