TROUBLESHOOTING
1.
THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT SWITCH ON
If the appliance does not switch on, proceed as follows:
1.
Press the main switch (1).
2.
Check that the plug (2) on the power cable (3) of the appliance has been correctly inserted into the
socket (4) of the mains supply, and if not, properly connect it.
3.
Make sure that the electronic specifications of the appliance correspond to the specifications of the power
supply network, check the technical information on the serial number plate.
4.
Make sure that the power cable has not been damaged (read the section “REPLACING THE POWER
CABLE”).
2.
INSUFFICIENT VACUUM
If the vacuum capacity is insufficient, proceed as follows:
1.
Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the nozzle on the collection tank.
2.
Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the accessory that is being used.
3.
Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum hose.
4.
Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum chamber of the accessory being used.
5.
Check that the fabric filter is not dirty (read the section “
CLEANING THE FABRIC FILTER
”).
6.
Check that the vacuum motor filter is not dirty (read the section “
CLEANING THE VACUUM MOTOR
FILTER
”).
