MAINTENANCE
When the work is finished and before putting the appliance away, carry out the following
maintenance:
1. Take the device to its maintenance area.
CAUTION
: These operations must be carried out using gloves to protect the hands.
1.
Check that the vacuum motor control switch is in the "OFF" position, otherwise turn the switch
to the off position (
Fig.03
).
2.
Check that the detergent solution delivery switch is in the "OFF" position, otherwise turn the
switch to the off position (
Fig.04
).
3.
Check that the plug on the power cable is connected to the power supply socket, otherwise
disconnect it.
WARNING:
To prevent damaging the power cable, disconnect the plug from the mains
socket by directly pulling the plug and not the cable.
4.
Free the suction head (
Fig.05
), unscrew the detergent solution tank plug (
Fig.06
), lay the
vacuum head on the ground.
5.
Using the handle, remove the detergent solution tank from inside the collection tank (
Fig.07
).
Empty and clean the detergent solution tank.
6.
Remove the sponge filter (
Fig.12
).
7.
With a damp cloth clean the foam block float (
Fig.13
).
8. Clean the inside of the collection tank with a damp cloth.
9.
Refit all the parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter lists the most common problems linked with the use of the appliance. If you are unable
to resolve the problems with the information given here, please contact your nearest assistance
centre.

The detergent solution supply pump
is off.
Start the detergent solution pump
with its switch.

The protection thermostat has

Switch off the appliance and let it

Clean the nozzle of the cleaning
outlet.

Clean the detergent solution pipe.
WARNING
: the place designated for this operation must comply with current environmental
protection regulations.
WARNING
: be sure to respect current environmental protection regulations, and never
discharge the detergent directly into the drain.
7. Fill the detergent solution tank with clean water.
WARNING
: fill with clean water, at a temperature no greater than 50°C and no less than
10°C.
8.
Using the handle, remove the detergent solution tank from inside the collection tank.
9.
Insert the pick up filter inside the detergent solution tank (
Fig.8
), screw on the closing plug.
10.
Secure the vacuum head to the collection tank (
Fig.9
).
11. Plug the power cable into the mains socket.
12.
Switch on the appliance by setting the vacuum motor switch to “ON” (
Fig. 10
).
13.
Start the spraying of the detergent solution, setting the chemical product activation - deactivation
switch to “ON” (
Fig.11
).
14. Place the accessory above a drain and spray for a few minutes.
15.
Switch off the appliance.
AT THE END OF THE WORK
At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of maintenance, perform the following
operations:
1. Take the appliance to the place where it is maintained and carry out all the procedures listed in
the chapter “MAINTENANCE”.
2. Take the appliance to the designated machine storage place.
3.
Check that the vacuum motor control switch is in the "OFF" position, otherwise turn the switch
to the off position (
Fig.03
).
4.
Check that the detergent solution delivery switch is in the "OFF" position, otherwise turn the
switch to the off position (
Fig.04
).
5.
Take out the power cable from the mains socket, remove the plug in the cable of the power
supply socket.
WARNING:
To prevent damaging the power cable, disconnect the plug from the mains
socket by directly pulling the plug and not the cable.
WARNING:
Park the appliance in an enclosed place, on a flat surface; near the appliance
there must be no objects that could either damage it, or be damaged through contact with it.
