Handbrake lever

Removing - refitting

Working as illustrated on the preceding

page, remove the lever cover and undo the
adjustment nut underneath, then discon-
nect the wiring connector for the hand-
brake warning light switch.

Raise the car on the ramps and remove the

heat shield illustrated.

Undo the bolts (arrowed), lower the car

and remove the lever from its seating.

Refit the dismantled parts in reverse or-

der to removal, and then adjust the

handbrake.

Handbrake cables

Removing - refitting

Working as described above, remove the

lever cover, undo the adjustment nut, raise

the ramps and remove the heat shield,
then undo the bolts securing the hand-

brake cable to the bodyshell.
