Earthing

The earthing points on the product are marked with the following symbol:

NOTICE

When earthing the product, observe the following:
• Observe the national regulations and standards.
• For earthing, use only cables that comply with the locally applicable regulations.
• For optional product configurations without energy chains: for attachment components mounted

by the customer ensure that the earthing points are earthed by laying the earthing cables appropri-
ately.

1. Connect the earthing points of the modules to suitable earthing cables.

The earthing cables are included in the scope of delivery depending on the configuration:

–

Product version with EGC axes: the earthing cables are included.

–

Product version with ELGC axes: the earthing cables are not included in the scope of delivery.

2. Pay attention to installation of the earthing cables in the energy chains

7.2 Cables and tubes.

3. Earth the attachment component mounted by the customer.

Earthing points
The following illustration shows an example of the positions of the earthing points.
The positions of the earthing points may vary depending on the configuration.
