The CPV valve terminal type CPV−... with direct link type
CPV...−GE−SD−8 documented in this manual is designed ex
clusively for use as a slave on the Smart Distributed System:
for the control of pneumatic and electric actuators (valves
and relay plates)
Please use the valve terminal only as follows:
as designated
in faultless technical condition
without unauthorized modifications.
The specified maximum values for pressures, temperatures,
electrical data, torques, etc. must be observed when addi
tional commercially−available components such as sensors
and actuators are used.
Please observe the standards specified in the individual
chapters and comply with national and local laws and safety
regulations.
Warning
If to be used as an explosion−protected operating device,
make sure that:

electrical contacts are not disconnected under tension
S
the completely fitted product with all plugs, adapters
and protective caps complies at least with protection
class IP64.
