1.3.7 Fitting the terminating resistor
If the CPV valve terminal to be connected is at the end of the
field bus, a terminating resistor (120 Ohm, 0.25 Watt) must
be fitted.
Recommendation for T−adapter:
Fit the terminating resistor to the unused output of the T−
adapter.
If a T−adapter is not used, the terminating resistor must be
fitted in the field bus socket. To do this clamp the wires of the
resistor together with those of the field bus cable between
Data + (CAN_High, pin 4) and Data − (CAN_Low, pin 3) on the
bus cable socket.
