Inspection

To ensure optimal use of the devices, it is important to keep

all the components in good condition and to remove all

traces dirt, debris and bodily fluids. The devices must be

inspected before and after each use and cleaned after each

use. If the devices are not used, they must be stored in a dry

indoor environment and should be inspected at least once a

month.
The device must be inspected by the maintenance personnel

on a regular basis. Perform the various checks on this page.
If any signs of wear or damage are found during inspection,

discontinue use of the stretcher immediately and contact

Ferno's Technical Support Service to request repairs/

maintenance. See the chapter on Technical Support.

Lubrication of the stretcher

Disinfect and clean the device before applying the lubricant.
There are two identical areas of lubrication at the points of

the stretcher.
Lubricate with a drop of SAE 30 oil, and then move the

mechanism back and forth several times to work the oil into

the guide.
Remove any excess lubricant with neutral detergent.

WARNING

Do not lubricate parts unnecessarily as this can

cause dirt and particles to deposit on the lubricated

parts and cause damage. Lubricate only the points

indicated.
