5.1.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE SAW BLADE (Fig. 8-9)
DANGER - WARNING
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES.
Tools required:
Suitable Allen keys and/or Phillips screwdrivers are needed to replace the blade.
Check the compatibility of the used blade
NOTES
Use of used blades is not recommended.
However, in the case of necessity, check that the blade is intact and shows no obvious
signs of wear.
Check the compatibility of the NEW blade
NOTES
The characteristics of the blade must be compatible with the technical specifi cations
indicated in the relative appendix.
a. Slacken the handle (29) and slide the blade guide up to the travel stop in the direction
shown in the fi gure.
b. Remove the safety guard by unscrewing the relative fi xing screws.
DANGER - WARNING
WHEN THE SAFETY GUARD IS OPENED, THE BLADE MAY JUMP OUT.
c. Turn the handwheel (2) anticlockwise to facilitate removal of the blade.
d. First extract the blade from the pulleys and then from the blade guide bearings.
e. Remove any work process debris using a small brush.
f. Install the new blade.
g. Make sure, by means of a visual inspection, that the blade is installed with the teeth pointing
in the direction indicted by the arrow on the machine.
h. Replace the safety guard by tightening the relative fi xing screws.
i. Turn the handwheel (2) clockwise until the clutch engages.
j. Run in the blade.

TO GET OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR BLADE, CARRY OUT THE
RUNNING-IN PROCEDURE.
k. Carry out three cuts, putting only a light pressure on the workpiece.
