Lamination Feed Sensor
When the machine senses a pouch has been mis-fed
and
has not gone com-
pletely through the machine in a normal operating time, the Lamination Feed
Sensor LED will blink. Use the release lever located at the rear of the machine to
remove the laminate. A beep will sound if a pouch is left on the exit tray to alert
the user to remove the pouch.
Auto Shut Off
If the machine is not active for 30 minutes, the Auto Shut Off function will place
the machine into standby mode. All LEDs will be dimly blinking. To operate the
machine, press any button or cycle the power switch.
‘Release’ function
To remove or re-align a pouch during lamination, activate the release lever
located at the rear of the machine. The pouch can only be removed from the
entry slot when the lever is activated.
t
For best results, use Fellowes ® brand pouches:
Enhance 80, Impress 100, Enhance 80 - Cold Pouches.
t
For self-adhesive (cold pouches) only use the cold setting.
t
This machine does not need a carrier to laminate. It is a carrier-free mechanism.
t
Always put the item to be laminated into the appropriate sized pouch.
t
Always test laminate with a similar size and thickness before final process.
t
Prepare pouch and item for lamination. Place item within pouch centred and
touching the leading sealed edge. Ensure the pouch is not too large for the item.
t
If required, trim excess material from around the item after lamination and
cooling.
t
When working with different pouch thickness’ (temperature settings) it is recom-
mended to first start with the thinnest pouches.

NEED HELP?
Switch the power on (located at the rear of the machine).
The control panel buttons will flash once as part of a check light system to ensure
proper function.
The machine defaults to the 80mic hot setting. For 100mic, 125mic or cold
laminating press the corresponding pouch selection buttons.
When the machine is ready, a beep will sound and temperature setting button will
stop flashing and remain on.
Place the document into the open pouch. Ensure the document is centered against
the sealed edge. Use the appropriate pouch size for the document.
Ensure the pouch enters the machine sealed edge first. Keep the pouch straight
and central within the slot, not on an angle. Use the entry markings as a guide.
Upon exit, the laminated pouch may be hot and soft. For the best quality and to
prevent jamming remove the pouch immediately. Place the pouch on to a flat
surface to cool. Take care when handling a hot pouch. Always remove laminate
pouch before starting next laminate.
To release a pouch during lamination activate the release lever located at the
rear of the machine. Gently pull pouch out of machine.

SETTING UP THE LAMINATOR
HOW TO LAMINATE
Switch off the machine at the wall. Allow the machine to cool. The outside of the machine can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or flammable materials to
polish the machine. Cleaning sheets can be used with the machine. When the machine is warm – run the sheets through the machine to clean any residue off the rollers. For
optimum performance, it is recommended that cleaning sheets are used with the machine regularly. (Cleaning sheet order codes #5320601)
