should hear the sound of the
pump stuttering, immediately
release your finger from the
Outlet port. If you hear the
stuttering sound, instrument has
passed leak test, proceed to
step 11, Calibrate the O
sensor. If pump motor does not
stutter proceed to the Leak Test
Fail Instructions below.
Leak Test Fail Instructions
If instrument does not drop to close to 0
mL/min, or fails either pump test, do the
following:
i.
Turn instrument off
ii.
Remove the batteries and battery cap
iii.
Unscrew and remove the black bottom
plate
iv.
Check to see that the KmNO

bottle is
securely tightened
v.
Check to see that the C
2
H
4
sensor is
pressed completely into place
vi.
Check to see that the O
2
sensor is
securely tightened
vii.
Replace the bottom plate
viii.
Install the batteries and battery cap
ix.
Run the leak test again. If it fails Leak
Test Part A or Part B for a second time
