images on the following page:
1. Turn off the F-940 Store It! and remove
the bottom rubber mat.
2.
Remove the battery cap (it’s spring
loaded!) and unscrew the black bottom
plate of the F-940.
3. Unplug the red and black cable
connector by gently pulling the fastener
out the end of the O
₂
sensor.
4. Unscrew the O
2
sensor (counter-
clockwise).
5. Screw in the new sensor (clockwise)
until you feel a resistance
—not too
tight!
6. Plug in the cable connector by pressing
the white fastener into the end of the
new O
2
sensor.
7. Screw the bottom plate into position,
and fasten the battery cap.
8. Place the bottom rubber mat
—and
congratulations you’ve done it!
