4.4. Transponder configuration "C" (not ID CTx.A)
The possibility to set transponder-specific options in accordance to the transponder is given by the
transponder configuration. This way, it is possible to set single areas of a transponder as read-only
and to secure public access "D" to single areas.
C-A:
defines the configuration address
(max. size and function depends on transponder)
to which the
read or write-command shall be applied.
CB:
are the configuration parameters, that are read from or written on the transponder following address
C-A. CB has got a fixed length of 4 byte.
Note:
•
The configuration of the transponder should only be executed after having carefully studied
the individual transponder data sheet, as in some cases irreversible, wrong settings may be
effected.
