3.12. CFG12: Scan Mode
The parameters of the CFG12 configuration block contain scan mode settings. To enable scan mode
the SCAN-MODE bit in the SYS-MODE register of the
3.10. CFG10: General System Parameters
configuration block must be set. The SCAN-MODE can be used with the reader Multiplex Mode, the
parameters for this function has to configured in the
3.11. CFG11: Buffered Read Mode.
The Data-/Clock-Interface can only be used if the reader is in the SCAN-MODE.
For using the Inventory Read command (Tag-it HF-I and I-Code SLI) the function must be enabled in
3.8. CFG8: General Transponder

(active for read duration – stops after good read)
When Transponders have been decoded, the Reader will stop the scan. The
Reader must be triggered again to read other Transponders.
Continuous Read:
The Reader will detect as many Transponders as it can decode regardless
whether they are the same or not. This mode is mainly used for
demonstration and diagnostics. Between two reads the Reader automatically
forces a RF-Reset.
