Braking is normally activated using the
forward/reverse lever. The hydrostatic transmission
brakes the roller when the lever is moved towards the
neutral position.

There is also a brake in the drum motor and rear axle
that acts as an emergency brake during operation.

When emergency braking, engage the parking
brake (16), hold the steering wheel firmly and
brace yourself for a sudden stop. The brakes are
applied and the engine stops.

The diesel engine stops and must be restarted.

The emergency stop is activated by pressing the
button (29).

Hold the steering wheel firmly and brace yourself
for a sudden stop.

The brakes are applied and the engine stops.

After an emergency stop, return the forward/reverse
lever to neutral and pull out the emergency stop
button (29).

Enable the parking brake (16) and set
the speed control (14) to Low.

The roller is equipped with an Interlock and therefore
the operator must sit in the seat to start the engine.
