Changing the engine oil
Remove one of the oil filler caps (3) to vent the engine
crankcase and allow the engine lubricating oil to drain
more easily.
Place a receptacle that holds 15 liters (4 gal)
under the drain plug.
The oil plug (1) is most easily accessible from the
underside of the engine, and is fitted with a hose
on the tractor frame.
Release the hose from its attachment
and pull it forward to the tie-down hole.
Loosen the drain plug (1) and drain the oil,
when the engine is warm.
Screw back the plug again (53.9 - 63.7 Nm
(40 - 47 ft-lb)) and refit the hose in its attachment.
Change the engine oil filter (2) at the same time.
Refer also to the Instruction Manual for the engine.

Turn the engine oil filter (2) counterclockwise
using an oil filter wrench.
Clean the engine oil filter mounting face.
Lightly coat the gasket on the new oil filter
with engine lubricating oil.
Install the new engine oil filter by turning it clockwise
until it contacts the mounting surface.
Tighten the filter to 19.6 - 23.5 Nm (14 - 17 ft-lb).
