– Required aeration depth: 5 – 8cm
When changing the depth, you have to adjust the following: the adjusting screws of the
front travelling wheels, the position of the feeler wheels, the down pressure of the sweeps and the
spacers on the piston-rods of the rear travelling wheels. The frame of the machine must always
be parallel to the ground.
The depth of the side coulter is set 1cm below the level of the travelling wheel.
4.4.
Setting the Working Depth
1. Use the tractor hydraulic control for the arms to lower the machine down on the front
travelling wheels. The central frame of the machine must be parallel to the ground.
2. The feeler wheels must be attached to the central opening of the frame of the wheel.

3. Using the front adjustable travelling wheels, level the frame of the machine into the
traverse plane. The basic setting of the adjusting screws of the front travelling wheels is
53cm. The spacing is measured from the centre of the pins.

4. Use the control lever for the internal tractor circuit to lower down the rear travelling
wheels. The rear transport wheels must be slightly above the ground. When working in
soft conditions or when the tank is full, set the rear wheels so that they slightly touch the
