Operation - Round Bale Carrier 2400

Tractor Requirements

The 2400 Round Bale Carrier will require a tractor with
minimum 80 hp (60 kw) and two pair of remote outlets
(operate with either closed center or open center / load
sensing hydraulic system).

Drawbar Adjustment

Adjust the tractor’s drawbar in / out, until the center of the
hitch pin hole (Item 1) 

[Figure 27]

 is 16 inches (410 mm)

from the end of the tractor’s PTO shaft. See your tractor’s
owner’s manual for correct adjustment procedures.

Entering And Leaving The Operator’s Position

Entering The Operator’s Position

Move to the operator’s position, start the engine and
release the parking brake.

AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH

The tractor must be equipped with an approved Roll
Over Protection Structure (ROPS) and safety belts
to help prevent personal injury or death caused by
tractor roll over.

•

Keep shields and all guards in place.

•

Keep away from moving parts.

•

Keep bystanders away.

Towing Vehicle / Tractor must have adequate
braking capacity to safely control 23,140 lb. (10,496
kg) GVW trailing load. Do not tow over 20 mph (32
km/h). Towing Vehicle / Tractor unit should weigh
15,500 lb. (7,030 kg) or approximately 67% of GVW.
