Opening and closing the housing cover

Turn the round closure on the back of the device clockwise (see illustration) and open the
housing cover using the gap over the closure; it detaches itself completely from the device.
To close it, place the housing cover with the bottom edge first onto the device and turn the
closure in the counterclockwise direction. Make sure that the housing cover fits correctly and
locks flush in place. The device is only protected against the ingress of water and dirt if the
cover is closed properly.

Inserting the battery

First open the housing cover. Take out the battery using the plastic flap. When you set the
battery back in, make sure the labelling faces up and the metal contacts towards the pins in
the device.

Inserting a micro SD card

First open the housing cover. Remove the battery if necessary. Then slide the metallic
retaining plate for the micro-SD card upwards and then flip it up from underneath. You can
now insert a micro-SD card.

Make sure that the contacts on the card are pointing downwards. Then flip the retaining plate
back down towards the device and lock it in place by sliding it downwards.
