Assembly
WARNING! Only professional mechanics are allowed to install the lift. When the lift is installed by
unskilled personnel, this may cause damage to the lift and/or materials and cause serious injuries
to people.
Requirements for area of installation
Check if the area is suited
The lift is designed to be used in covered areas without any obstacles from above . The lift may not
be installed near a washing place, painting area or areas where solvents or varnish are being stored.
Installation near rooms where a dangerous situation or explosion may occur is strictly forbidden. The
current Health and Safety at Work standards, regarding minimum distance from a wall or other
machines, escape routes etcetera have to be lived up to.
Lighting
The work area has to be well-lit in compliance with the regulations that apply to the place the lift is
being installed. All areas surrounding the lift should be equally and well-lit.
Floor demands
The lift must be placed on a concrete floor with a minimum thickness of 20cm and which is in
compliance with the local regulations. The concrete must be of at least strength class C20-25
(250kg/cm²).
The surface where the lift is being installed has to be even and level in all directions. A difference in
height, no more than 5mm in the drive direction and 5mm cross-wise can be balanced with leveling
wedges. For installation on raised surface, the compliance with the maximum carrying capacity of the
surface is recommended. New concrete needs at least 28 days to fully cure and harden.
Packing, transport, storage and unpacking
Packing
The packing of the lift exists of the following parts:

The lift itself placed on a pallet with cardboard packaging
2.
1 Control-unit, packed in a multiplex box.
Tha package its total weight is 590kg.
Lifting/handling of materials
During loading/unloading of the equipment you need to use suited transport and/or lift equipment
(crane/forklift, truck). Make sure the components are lifted and transported carefully so they cannot
fall, take into account the package size, weight and center of gravity of the fragile parts.
