Safety applications
To prevent the lift from overloading and to prevent possible damage a couple of safety applications
have been installed:
1.
An over-pressure valve is placed in the hydraulic unit, this prevents the lift from being
overloaded by weight.
2.
A specially designed hydraulic system prevents the lift, in case of hose failure or something
comparable, from lowering unintended. Every platform is fitted with a cylinder with safety
valve.
3.
The lift is also equipped with a mechanic locking system, this makes it almost impossible for
the lift to lower unintended.
4.
Racks on the sides of the lift prevent you from placing your feet under the lift, so you cannot
get stuck.
5.
Maintain a safety zone of at least 1 meter around the lift, the operator may only operate the
lift from outside the safety zone. When the lift is being used, make sure there are no people
and/or objects within the safety zone.
WARNING! The over pressure valve is preset by the manufacturer on a certain pressure. It is
forbidden to make any adjustments to the safety valve in order to exceed the maximum lifting
capacity of the lift.
