2.7.3 Output Connection
The device under test is connected to the “+” and “-” output terminals on the rear panel of the power supply.
When connecting, pay attention to the wire diameter, length and polarity of the output cable. To prevent the wire
diameter from being too small to affect the test accuracy and generate large heat to cause safety accidents,
please refer to "Table 6-1 Recommended Wire Diameters for Cables" for wire diameter selection.

The diameter of the wire connected to the load must be adequate so as to carry the
maximum applied current.

2.7.4 V-Sensing Connection
FTP series power supplies are able to compensate for the voltage drop caused by output connecting cables. In
order to use the remote V-sense function, firstly, remove the connecting wire between V-SENSE terminal: +LS and
+S, -LS and -S. Then connect the +S and -S terminal to the positive/negative of the load respectively.
