Connections

FKM1/2/4/6/6V series

The power connection of the servomotor is made through a straight mail
base connector that ensures a sealing degree of IP 65. All servomotor
models of these series have the same power base connector, MC-20/6
except servomotor FKM66. 30A.

.

21.



 is equipped with the MC-30/6

connector.

Once the power cable has been assembled, it is connected by screwing
the female connector

·

MC-20/6 or MC-30/6 as appropriate

·

 of the power

cable into the power base connector of the servomotor.

Use the figures to help you and proceed as follows:

Unscrew part 7 from part 1 of the connector provided in the accessories
bag. You will have two sets of pieces:
- Set 1 made up of pieces 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
- Set 2 made up of pieces 6 and 7.

Insert the power cable whose reference is MPC-4x

-

M (for brakeless

servomotor) or MPC-4x

+(2x

)-

M (for servomotor with brake) into

the holes of the pieces shown in the figure in the order shown.

Now strip the cable with the values indicated in the previous figure for
the shield and for the wires.

Note.

For the servomotors of these series, FAGOR supplies (on

request) the MC-20/6 and MC-30/6 female connectors (disassembled) in
a plastic bag together with six terminals. Prior to connection, the user
must create a power cable by mounting this connector on a 4-wire MPC-
4x

-

M cable (if the motor does not have a brake) or 6-wire MPC-

4x

+(2x1)-

M cable (if the servomotor has a brake). These cables are

also supplied by FAGOR (upon request) in meters.
