The appliance has been manufactured in
accordance with EC standards concerning
materials in contact with food.
The appliance is in conformity with directive
EEC 89/336 concerning the elimination of
radio disturbances.

Before using the appliance for the first
time, read this instruction manual
carefully and retain for future reference,
in order to obtain the best results and
ensure safe use.

Before using the appliance, make sure
its voltage corresponds to the local
power supply.

After removing the packaging, check if
the appliance is in perfect condition. In
case of doubt, contact your nearest
service centre.
• This appliance is only for domestic use.
Any other use is considered
inappropriate and dangerous.

In case of technical problems, switch
off the machine and do not try to repair
it yourself. Use only a manufacturer
authorised service centre and always
demand the use of original spare parts.
Failure to follow the above mentioned
conditions, could affect the safety of
the appliance.
• The user should never change the
electric cable. In case of damage,
contact your manufacturer authorised
service centre. Do not use the
appliance if the cable or plug are
damaged.
• The manufacturer does not accept
responsibility for any damage caused
by incorrect or inappropriate use or for
repairs, carried out by unauthorised
personnel.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Never
feed food by hand. Always use
completely assembled slicer with food
pusher. The food pusher is part of the
basic equipment of this machine and
it could be dangerous to use the
appliance without it.
• Do not touch or pull the electric cable
with wet or damp hands or feet.

Never submerge the appliance in water
or any other liquid.

Do not let children use the appliance.
• Never unplug the appliance by pulling
the electric cable.

Always unplug the appliance, before
cleaning and after use.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.
This slicer has been designed to operate
for short periods (10 minutes, maximum.)
3. SAFETY WARNING
4. HOW TO USE
Place the appliance on a dry, flat, stable
surface.
Check that the on/off switch is set to the "0"
position and plug the appliance into the
mains.
Use the regulator to adjust the cutting
thickness.
Place the food item to be sliced on the
sliding tray and use the pusher to exert a
gentle pressure against the mobile guide,
keeping your thumb behind the protector at
all times. Turn the appliance on.
For best results, we recommend that you
exert regular, firm, but not excessive
pressure on the circular knife.
When you have finished, unplug the
appliance. For safety reasons and to protect
the blade while in storage, rotate the
thickness regulator to align the mobile guide
with the knife.
